This session would focus on building a scripting interface and embedding a script interpreter into larger applications. Specific examples would include the Jython project for embedding python in Java projects, and the Rhino project for embedding dynamic JavaScript (with code for each).

I can also talk about preventing scripts from performing malicious behavior and the need for a separate scripting interface and how to develop one.

If there was enough interest, I think it would be fun to have a small workshop where we try to build a C/C++ “hello world” app that you could extend using Lua.
